Heading to Europe!

Villas of Distinction is heading to Europe – London & Italy specifically (and they are letting me go!) We will start our trip in London and then we will head down to Italy to tour several villas and locations. Here is just a small sample of some of the villas we will visit: Le Rose, Villa Collalto, Il Frantoio, and MANY more.

Well even though I can’t actually fit you into my suitcase (trust me, it’s already full), I can tell you all about it! I’ll blog regularly while we are away so you can stay up-to-date on the latest villa travel scoop.

New Travel Journal – Amalfi Coast, Italy

Have you ever been to the Amalfi Coast, Italy? Or have you ever dreamed of going?

If you answered no to either of the above questions, then you definitely need to read our latest  Amalfi Coast, Italy Travel Journal! This travel journal is a first hand account from one of our own villa agents. She vividly describes traveling to the Amalfi Coast and provides detailed info on each of the different Amalfi Coast HOT SPOTS, including:

The Amalfi Coast is a very sophisticated and exclusive place to be in the summer months…
The Amalfi coastline begins with Sorrento and ends in Salerno. Beginning from the eastern coast, Sorrento is the largest town and has the largest port for ferry service to the island of Capri, and to Capri’s sister island, Ischia. Sorrento is a beautiful town offering plenty of shopping and a diverse collection of restaurants, as well as a quick train ride to the entrance of historic Pompeii. While Sorrento has no beach to speak of, it does have sunbathing clubs that are located out on the water that make it easy to dive in for a refreshing swim.

 After reading and reviewing the journal, I can definitely tell you that I cannot wait to get to the Amalfi Coast. I’m heading to Italy this spring, so I’m really hoping I’ll be able to squeeze it into the itinerary!

An introduction is in order today – I am Maggie Pristera, the new Marketing Manager for Villas of Distinction. I am just thrilled to be here and so happy to be able to share with you my villa experiences and expertise. 

Here’s how it’ll work:  As I travel to the different villa destinations around the globe (we have villas in 30 destinations, by the way!) I’ll be exploring the areas, culture, and overall villa experience. I’ll then share this information with you from right here on this blog. The idea is to gather as much knowledge as I can about all of our villas so that I can help you villa in the best way possible. Because let’s face it – you are my top priority and I want all of you to be the best informed villa renters! You should always know exactly what to expect while on your villa vacations, whether you intend to relax, dine, shop, or play!

If at any point you want more information about a particular destination, please feel free to reach out to me. I’m more than happy to get you the information you desire, or to connect you with the best person to answer all of your villa questions.
